US stripped of AAA credit rating by S&P as agency blames political weakness

A disgusting example of how economics under capitalism are devoid of anything sensibly resembling democracy - within the same week of the debt-ceiling bill which put programs such as medicare, social security, and what little social safety net there is in the US on the chopping block so that corporations making record profits could see their profits rise ever-more, these speculating wastes of flesh lower the US credit rating anyway citing that a)it wasn’t good enough along with a whole malarky of other excuses like “our 40 year projection of the US economy”… what person in the right mind factors a 40 year projection based on current conditions. Krugman along with many others have exposed S&P for the shells possessed by the utmost malice and greed they are in other articles
